Changes

There have been so many changes since my last post!  Life was complicated for quite some time, but now I feel the need to start writing again.  I hope to keep it up now.

Joe and I decided to sell our house and move in with our daughter and her family.  The basement of her house was turned into an in-law apartement years ago, and she had been renting to friends.  It is a walk-out, with a nice porch that looks to the yard.  I won't go into all the detail of the move now, since it was over a year ago, but let's just say it was stressful.
Now we are quite settled in, and I really like it.  Love it even.   I get to see my grandchildren almost daily.  They feel free to come down and visit whenever they wish.   I have access to the whole two acres to plant and play.  I have a view of yard and woods when I do the dishes, instead of the house next door.  When the weather is good, I watch the kids play and it makes dishwashing just a bit less of a chore.
We are near so many of the nature refuges, trails and ponds that I love.  Westwood campground is practically across the road, and we go there all the time to swim.
I feel I'm finally living the kind of life I've wanted all along.
