My oldest granddaughter is constantly making me smile.
She went for her admission-to-kindergarten testing the other day. Besides eye and hearing tests, she also had to copy shapes with a pencil, stack shaped blocks the same way the teacher did, and a few other things.
One "test" involved the teacher asking a question in order to evaluate the child's speech patterns. She asked Ella, "How did you get here today?" In relating the story to my daughter, the teacher said most kids will say "In Mommy's car" or "We walked", etc. Not my Bean! She gave directions! "We went past Cassie's house, then turned where the CVS is..." !
I hope she gets placed in the advanced class!
