Ella and I were riding home from ballet lessons, and she noticed the dark clouds in the sky. She said "I hope we don't get a thunderstorm". I answered "Why? You aren't afraid of thunder."
"I don't like it when I'm trying to sleep, though!" I countered with "You have Teddy to protect you." "He has a meeting tonight" she replied.
What?
"He has a meeting tonight with the other animals to decide what they want to get their mothers for Mother's Day".
Oh.
After supper, she went upstairs, and sure enough, she had Teddy and a few of the other stuffed animals gathered in a semi-circle. I spoke for a couple of the animals and it was just a lot of fun. They all picked out gifts from Ella's little toys and jewelry, and the butterfly kitty "said" she would deliver them!
I love this girl!
