Little by little, the pain lessened. I had a bit more energy. The trouble now was, learning how to do things with one arm. I needed Joe to help me dress. Nothing that needed two hands to lift could be done by me. I got out of doing dishes; a small perk.
Eventually, I had to go grocery shopping, and was getting very frustrated with trying to push an uncooperative cart with one hand. Then I noticed a man with one arm walking by me. I thought of that saying "I was sad because I had no shoes till I saw a man who had no feet." At least I'll get my arm back...
